For the past 40 plus years I have been teaching the Holy Quran. Starting shortly after completing Hifz myself, I started teaching at the age 13 and continued to teach all throughout my college years. Once I moved to the Chicagoland area, I started teaching at ICN in Naperville and Masjid al Huda in Schaumburg.
Alhumdulilah after 20 plus years of living here, I am still blessed enough to be able to teach our youth and elders alike about the importance of our Deen and most importantly the Holy Quran. Throughout the years I have made many connections and helped out many Islamic centers such as ICCD and the UzBek American Association of Chicago. I have also been a Jummah Khateeb at ICC of Chicago for the past 20 years.

Ḥāfiẓ Tahir Dawood was born and raised in the Glendale Heights community. He enrolled in the Taḥfīẓ program at the Institute of Islamic Education in Elgin, IL at the tender age of eight. He went on to complete the memorization of Qur’an privately at the age of eleven. Ḥāfiẓ Tahir attended the College Prep School of America graduating in 2007. He has been leading prayers and teaching Qur’an recitation and memorization in the Chicagoland area for the past ten years. Since 2013, he has been serving as an Imam at MSI. He also teaches in the MSI After-School Maktab program and part time Quran memorization teacher in MSI Hifz program.

Hafiza Ayesha Huma has been teaching Islamic studies, tajwid and also working as full time Quran memorization teacher in MSI (MASJID IBRAHIM). She was born and raised in Pakistan. In 2008, she completed her Hifz program and received a Quran Memorization Certificate from “Wafaq ul Madarash Arabia ''Afterwards with full devotion and dedication she completed her academics. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan. Besides her professional studies, in her part time, she has been teaching Islamic studies and memorizing the Quran to children of all ages since the last five years.

Hafiza Rubya Uddin has been teaching Islamic studies, tajwid and also working as part time Quran memorization teacher in MSI (MASJID IBRAHIM).
